  • 678 Hospital Admissions, 185 patients in ICU, 0 patients at the Alternate Care Facility
    • Hospital admissions are down 107 for the week (-107).
    • The total number of ICU patients increased by 7 (+7) for the week.
    • The total number of patients at the ACF has remained at 0 since December 25th.
  • Cumulatively there have been 539,915 positive tests in Wisconsin:
      • 9,744 positive tests reported last week, which is down 2,176, -2,176, from the previous week.  
      • The 7-day average for positive tests is now 1,392+/day. (7-day average was 1,702+/day last week)
  • Deaths from COVID-19 are at 5,860 in Wisconsin. 
      • 217 COVID-19 related deaths(104) less than the week prior.
      • The 7-day average for deaths is now 31 deaths/day. (7-day average was 42 deaths/day last week)
  • Vaccine Distribution (as of 1/29/21)
    • 846,300 vaccine doses allocated to Wisconsin (+66,500 more than week prior)
    • 641,150 vaccines have been ordered (+167,850 more than week prior)
    • 167,850 vaccines in transit (+67,750 more than week prior)
    • 476,855 vaccines have been administered (an increase of 166,599 since 1/22)
    • 90,668 Wisconsinites have received the two dose series of the current vaccines. (An increase of 34,008 since 1/22)

Positive Test Results

  • An average of 1,392 positive test results per dayWas 1,703+/day the previous week.

  

Milwaukee county had the highest number of new positive cases, with 1,578 new positives, 316 less, -316, than the previous week.

  • Dane county came in with the second highest number of new cases, 763, which is 55 less, -55 than the previous week.
  • Rounding out the top five counties with the most positive new cases were; 
    • Waukesha county; 579 new cases, -396 less than the previous week
    • Brown county; 498 new cases, –79 less than the previous week
    • La Crosse county; 430 new cases, +173 more than the previous week

 

 

 

 

 

Deaths

 

  • There were 217 COVID-19 related deaths(104) less than the week prior.

 

 

 

 

    • Waukesha county had 30 of the 217 deaths from the last week, which is (2) less than the number of deaths in the county reported the previous week. 
      • Milwaukee county reported 23 deaths, (80) less than the prior week;
      • Dane county reported 17 deaths, +7 more than the previous week;
      • Kenosha county reported 12 deaths, +2 more than the previous week.
      • Dodge county reported 11 deaths, +7 more than last week.
