COVID-19 Wisconsin Update #118 (7-29-20 PM) 

Updated numbers from Wednesday July 29th, 2020

The Department of Health Services (DHS) released the following updated numbers for Wednesday July 29th, 2020:

  • Cumulatively there have been 902,440 COVID-19 tests in Wisconsin;
    • 51,049 positive tests and 851,391 negative tests in Wisconsin (5.7 % positive rate for the pandemic)
      • On Wednesday there were 870 positive tests reported on 14,694 tests (5.9% positive rate Wednesday)
  • Deaths from COVID-19 are at 911 in Wisconsin.
      • There were 5 deaths reported on Wednesday
  • 40,416 patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are listed as having recovered (79%), 9,704 cases are still considered active (19%) and 911 patients have died (2%). (last updated by DHS on 7/29)
